The influence of financial promotions on young people’s decision-making

The results of research into the influence of financial promotions on young people's purchasing decisions were revealed to financial services firms at a joint CFEB and Financial Services Authority (FSA) event today. CFEB Chief Executive Tony Hobman opened the event which discussed the implications of the results, how best to engage with young people and encourage them to participate in financial services, and how best to use a changing marketing landscape.

This is the first joint research project between CFEB and the FSA, since CFEB was created in April.
