Background

We are the Consumer Financial Education Body (CFEB), an independent body responsible for helping consumers in the UK understand and manage their money well.

We are establishing our own in-house, end-to-end, HR service and need a dedicated and experienced HR generalist to set up and then run all the HR employee life-cycle operations, working closely with our Finance team who have payroll accountability. We have a workforce of just under 200 staff.

Which skills are required?

  • Experienced at HR transactional delivery, HR process design and continuous improvement
  • Experienced at Customer handling
  • Experienced at HR records and data management
  • Experienced at HR MI production
  • At ease with using standard HR systems and working with third-party suppliers of some service aspects.
  • Experienced at delivering high quality HR related customer service (for example agency and applicant handling, new starter on boarding and standard query handling)
  • Experienced at producing or improving HR processes, including template and MI production
  • Well organised and strong attention to detail
  • Appropriate appreciation of employment legislation
  • Good team player and communicator, both face to face and in writing
  • Keen to work in a relatively small organisation as a key contributor to getting the right people, at the right place, the right time and cost
  • Likely to be CIPD part qualified or studying for HR qualifications
